The Drum Oven is what I named my dedicated drum recording studio. It takes up the top floor of the building, and in the summer it can get fairly warm up there. But it is an incredibly comfortable and inspiring place to work, and sounds fantastic. The studio features Universal Audio Apollo preamps, as well as some vintage tube preamps and channel strips. It also has a great mic locker filled with Royer, Earthworks, Warm Audio, Shure, AKG, Audix, and Neumann microphones.
As for the instruments, there are high end modern, vintage, and modern “vintage build” kits to chose from, as well as electronic kits and pads. A large variety of snares and cymbals from the early 60’s to today, Also, the studio has just about every percussion toy known to man.
Rates are very reasonable, please drop me an email, text, or phone call to chat about your next project. MatthewtkinsMusic@gmail.com or 780.318.3786
